Shows

October 2026 Version. Work still in progress.
Shows registration opens December 26. Closes April 15, 2027.

An ISU congress is not complete without sharing our stereo images. So please send us your shows for projection in our stereo theater.

Shows may be submitted by all ISU members and members of associated stereo clubs. Even if you are not able to come to the congress yourself, you can still participate by sharing your stereo images.

You need to contact us at isu27shows@csmn.ch for ISU Sessions show submission and we will send you dedicated link to your own folder on a Proton (swiss) drive. You must upload here:

Your Show video file(s)
Your 2D/3D Author Image (optional)
Your Show description (max. 800 caracters)
List of used music streams, mainly for ones with copyright.

The shows will be projected in a 3D Cinema as usual 3D films, so we need to use the professional DCP format to manage the projections in an efficient way.

***** For best quality of projection in a DCP 3D format (2k 3DFlat), you must submit show in 2x1920x1080 sidebyside full format mp4 file (with H264 codec) with 24 fps frame rate or two separeted left and right stream 1920×1080 format mp4 file (with H264 codec) with 24 fps frame rate.

**** If you submit 2x1920x1080 sidebyside full format mp4 file in 25fps/30fps/… or 60 fps frame rate, we will need to reduce the frame rate to 24 fps with Handbrake software to fit the DCP 3D specifications to avoid any projection problem, and this could generate some  small quality loss in you file.

*** If you submit 1920×1080 sidebyside half width format mp4 file, we will need to enlarge the width to 2x1920x1080 to fit the DCP 3D specifications.

** If you submit 1920×1080 topbottom half height format mp4 file, we will need to enlarge the heigth and rebuilt the video to 2x1920x1080 sidebyside or separateed left/right stream 1920×1080 file to fit the DCP 3D specifications.

** With a large cinema screen, the so-called 3.3 % or 1/30 rule for 3D projection must be stricly respected. But please check that the maximum of disparity at inifinity in your video files is less than 3.3 % and exceptionnaly more than 3.3 %.

* If the disparity at inifinity is systematicly larger the 3.3 %, we will not accept your show.

We cannot accept executable files (*.exe).

Shows should have ideally a length of 8-10 minutes maximum.

If the total of submitted shows exceeds the available projection time, priority will be given to shows submitted by congress participants on a first-come, first-served basis and a maximum length of 15 minutes will apply to all shows by one person combined. Persons submitting multiple shows are advised to give a ranking of their shows in case a selection has to be made.

Shows may be rejected on technical grounds or when the content is regarded as not appropriate for presentation at the congress. The author of the show will be informed when a show is rejected.

By submitting a show, you assert that you own the copyright of the submitted content or have the consent of the copyright owner(s). or the content is copyright free. We’re working to be able to present shows with copyrighted audio tracks, although royalty-free audio tracks remain preferred. Please indicate on your submission form if the audio that you use is royalty-free or not.
